Two weeks after the ending of the Olympic Games 2012, London is now hosting the Paralympic Games, that started yesterday with the official opening on August 29th and will last until Sunday, September 9th. The charming royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the Opening Ceremony and got public’s attention. Still, the old mother Queen, had the main word holding the opening speech.
Queen Elizabeth II arrived accompanied by the President of the International Paralympics Committee, Sir Philip Craven. In her lines, the Queen said: “We look forward to celebrating the uplifting spirit which distinguishes the Paralympics Games from other events, drawing on Britain’s unique sporting heritage.”
