The Canadian extraordinary singer, songwriter, guitarist and
record producer Alanis Morissette announces her big back on the stage. The 38-year-old Alanis took break from the
public life, prioritizing her private life and dedicating herself to the family.
In December 2010, she and the husband Mario ‘MC’ Souleye’ Treadway gave birth
to their son Ever and she got focus to the role of caring mother. But now, two
years later when the baby is already a big boy, she says that is impatient to
start with performances, playing, shows and recording. She also adds that she
feels additional excitement to start wearing some fancy and shiny clothes,
coming out of her home sweatpants.
It is not a secret and everyone can tell how motherhood fits her. She is glad she took some time for the family and adds: "I
didn't want to get to 90 and have no family around me and think I had done
nothing other than work. In the past few years I very much prioritised personal
fulfilment and I'm really glad I did."
Alanis’s comeback album “Havoc and Bright Lights” is
released today.
